Bourton made the long trip to the Forest of Dean with their team at full strength for the first time this season with Ben Acock back after missing last week and Anders Harvey making his debut at the heart of the defence. Rovers started brightly and should of taken the lead on 5 minutes when Ryan Newhook crossed for brother Graham who somehow hit the ball over the bar from 4 yards out when it was easier to score. The visitors finally took the lead on 17 minutes when Acock's long free kick was expertly controlled by Matt Winter who slid the ball to Keelan Gilbert who drove the ball in with the help of a deflection.

It was soon 2-0 when a corner by G Newhook found Acock on the edge of the box who lobbed the ball into the danger area for Winter to volley home. They made it three when good work by Gilbert left Chris Mills to put in a inch perfect cross for Winter to head home his second of the afternoon. With Viney rarely threatening Bourton should of scored several more before half time with Harvey,Acock and Stuart Hughes all missing when they should of scored.

The second half was much the same as the 1st with Rovers peppering the foresters goal with Hughes and Winter both going close early on and Mills having a goal rulled out for offside, but on 60 minutes Hughes finally got his goal when Winter crossed for him to volley home from 10 yards, he scored his second 5 minutes later when Dave Davanzo, Winter and Kevin Hunt combined for him to tap home from 4 yards to make it 5-0.The home team pulled a goal back on 80 minutes when a mistake by G Newhook let the Viney striker smash home. Hughes completed his hat-trick when again Hunt and Winter set him up for him to coolly slot home past the keeper to record Bourton's biggest away win in the Northern senior league and probably moving them into the top 5.

This week Bourton host Brockworth at home with a 2-30 kick off
