Bourton Rovers 1-2 Tetbury Town
Bourton entertained their bogey side Tetbury on Saturday missing three key
players prolific striker Matt Winter due to illness at the last minute, Duncan
Habbitts with a head injury and skipper Ben Acock who was whisked of to Rome for
a romantic for a romantic weekend. Rovers started the stonger of the 2 sides and
deservedly took the lead on 15 minutes when the excellent Chris Mills found
himself one on one with the keeper only to be fouled in the penalty area by the
last Tetbury defender, the lady referee pointed to the spot but amazingly failed
to send the defender off. Ryan Newhook convincingly stuck the penalty home.
Tetbury
got back into the game and drew level just before half time when Gary Clark gave
a penalty away after a foul and the Tetbury striker made no mistake although
keeper Andy Herbert got a hand to it.
