With teams in both the Cheltenham and Witney & District Youth Leagues, Bourton Rovers are dedicated to continuing their success through the youth teams. Bourton Rovers are proud to have youth members as young as 5 years old who are keen to train on a weekly basis with their aim to learn skills and tactics from their Managers, most of whom have played or do still play for Bourton Rovers First XI.
Training will restart in September, break for Christmas and continue through to March 2008. Further information is available via the link or from team managers. We are currently looking for new recruits for our under 7's, 13's, 14's and 15's teams.
Kit Shop - Don't forget that the kit shop has been open through out the summer with a complete range or training wear for youth and senior ages. Gift vouchers are also now available. Again, information available on the web site or via your team manager.
Child Welfare - It is a league requirement that Clubs have a nominated Welfare Officer, and that Club Secretaries and Team Managers have been CRB-checked. Our own Child Welfare Policy reflects that of the FA's Safeguarding Children policy.
We are committed to creating and preserving the safest possible environment for children to play football. It is the duty of all League Management, Referees, Club Officials, Team Managers and any other individuals directly or indirectly involved with member clubs or teams playing in the League to be aware of and help prevent the abuse which children can suffer - neglect, physical, sexual and emotional.
We accept children's welfare is paramount and all children, whatever their age, culture, disability, gender or religious belief, have the right to protection from Abuse.
All suspicions and allegations of abuse will be taken seriously and responded to swiftly and appropriately.
